(Tour Summary)
The tour will start at Takayama station. In the morning, we will walk around in the city of Takayama visiting Sanmachi, Takayama Jinya and Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall if time allows. In the afternoon, we will use a bus or taxi to Shirakawago from Takayama. We will be there for two hours and return to Takayama. The tour will end at Takayama station.

(What can be expected from this tour)
Hida Takayama is known as “Little Kyoto” and it is friendly city with beautiful seasonal scenery. We will visit Old Town which is developed as a merchant town built around the former castle town of the Edo period. It is still prosperous today.
Shirakawago is a historic village and has been designated as World Heritage Site.
The village is noted for their “Gassho-zukuri houses.” “Gassho-zukuri” means a farmhouse with a steeply pitched roof, which is considered to resemble “Gassho”, or “handsclasped in prayer.”

Important Notes
1)The tour will not be conducted during instances of extreme weather such as typhoons and snowstorms.
2)Warm clothes and shoes are recommended for the walk in winter.
3)Please advise us if you have any religious or health restrictions, allergies, or have other specific requests.

37,600 yen (for 5 people)
40,000 yen (for 6 people)
For more than 6 people, will be consulted.

You are kindly requested to pay the actual expenses during the tour as listed below:
1) Travel expenses to/from the place where the guide meets you and his residence.
2) Admission fees to temples/shrines/museums/etc. (for you and guide)
3) Transportation charges during the services. (for you and guide)
4) Lunch (for you and guide)
5) Other actual tour-related expenses, if any.
