(Tour Summary)
Meet at Matsumoto Station, and proceed to Matsumoto castle by bus. Then, visit the castle.
(It will take an hour) After visiting Matsumoto castle, we will walk to the Formaer Kaichi school which is one of the oldest elementary school in Japan. After that, we will take a bus or walk to Nakamachi street and look around the area. We will have a lunch there. In the afternoon, we will visit Daio Wasabi Farm by taxi or train. After visiting Daio Wasabi Farm, return to Matsumoto station. The tour ends at Matsumoto station.

(What can be expected from this tour)
We will visit Matsumoto castle in Matsumoto which was built in 1593-94. The 5 roofed, six story tower castle is the oldest in existence in Japan. It is designated as a national treasure of Japan. In Nakamachi Street area there are old “Kura” storehouses lined along the street. Some of the highlights of the area include traditional crafts and small cafes.
In Daio Wasabi Farm, the beautiful wasabi field extends over a huge area that is bathed in running meltwater from the Northern Alps.

1)The tour will not be conducted during instances of extreme weather such as typhoons and snowstorms.
2)Warm clothes and shoes are recommended for the walk in winter.
